Periodontal disease affects the majority of our population and is a very preventable disease. In fact you are more likely to lose a tooth because of periodontal disease than from tooth decay after the age of 35. Routine check ups and cleanings are recommended every 6 months.

  • Preventative Check Ups

  • Regular Teeth Cleaning

  • X-Rays

The most important thing you can do is maintain and care for your teeth on a consistent basis to prevent problems from happening whenever possible.

Many people, adults and young people alike, struggle with the pain, inconvenience and look of wearing braces. Also, adults especially are dissatisfied with the appearance of their teeth later in life. As we get older many people notice that their once straight teeth are beginning to become crowded or misaligned. This is a phenomena known as “medial drift.” We offer alternative treatments to Braces that are generally quicker, easier and more affordable.

  • Sequential Aligner Trays

  • MyoBraces

Each case generally will take 3-10 months (depending on the amount of movement needed to realign your teeth).

You can not only ruin your teeth and/or crowns, but cause serious health issues when you Clench or Grind your Teeth… and TMJ is only one of them. TMJ, or Temporomandibular joint syndrome can be caused by injury to the teeth or jaw, misalignment of the teeth or jaw and teeth grinding or clenching, among other things. Orthodontics is one effective approach often used with TMJ disorder. If your TMJ is caused by misalignment or bite problems, braces, or other appliances, can be used to move your teeth back into the proper position. Once your teeth are positioned correctly, the TMJ will also shift back into its optimal alignment. Here at Pinnacle Dental we have less expensive, affordable alternatives for dealing with these issues.
